If you can recall, the iQOO Z7 series was a major hit. The series brought out devices that offered a high overall value. Well, it seems that the same thing will hold true for the iQOO Z8 series.
The brand-new series might not seem that new at first. After all, the first device, the iQOO Z8 5G, comes with a slightly revamped design. But under the hood, iQOO has made some serious improvements.
To start with, the iQOO Z8 5G comes with a large 6.64-inch LCD display. It’s an FHD+ screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. That means the images on the screen will not only seem high in detail but also will have smooth motion.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z8 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Even though it’s an upper mid-range chipset, you should get a fast overall experience with day-to-day apps and regular tasks. iQOO has paired that chipset with up to 512 GB storage and up to 12 GB RAM, which means you can run most demanding apps with ease.
When it comes to the camera configuration, the iQOO Z8 5G features a 16MP sensor on the front. It sits in a center punch-hole cutout on the screen, and it can deliver excellent video calling and selfie performance. And on the back, the phone boasts a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The main sensor on the back features OIS, which means the phone can take perfectly stable videos and photos. When it comes to the battery, the iQOO Z8 5G features a 5000mAh cell. This battery has 120W fast charging support, which should get the phone from 0% to 100% pretty fast.
Besides, the phone comes in three different colorways and is available in three configurations. The base model starts at 1699 Yuan, which converts to $234. And the high-end model, which comes with 12 GB RAM And 512 GB storage, is 1999 Yuan. That convert is around $275.
