Xiaomi has officially announced the global launch date for its upcoming Xiaomi 14T series. The highly anticipated smartphones, including the standard 14T and the Pro variant, are set to debut on September 26.
Xiaomi Also Confirms Leica Partnership for the 14T Series
Xiaomi is once again teaming up with Leica for the Xiaomi 14T series. That means both the 14T and 14T Pro will feature Leica-engineered lenses and color optimizations. Xiaomi has hinted at even more new Leica color profiles than before. These will make the upcoming smartphone good for photography.
The official launch page also showcases the silhouettes of the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro. These silhouettes reveal a design with flat frames and square camera islands. This aligns with recent leaks, adding further credibility to the design details.
Additionally, Xiaomi has confirmed that both devices will come with a one-time out-of-warranty repair with no additional labor fees and a one-time free screen repair. This will offer peace of mind for the 14T series customers.
Expected Specs and Price of the Two Smartphones
Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the specifications and pricing for the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro yet. However, a previous leak has shed light on it. The 14T with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will reportedly cost €649. Meanwhile, the 14T Pro with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is anticipated to have a price tag of €899.
It remains uncertain if additional RAM and storage options will be available. However, the Xiaomi 14T will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra, while the 14T Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300+. It’s worth noting that the Dimensity 9400 is expected to be in smartphones by early to mid-October, which might make the 14T Pro’s chipset choice slightly less competitive.
Both the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will reportedly boast a 6.67-inch 144 Hz AMOLED. This screen is rumored to feature a 1220×2712 resolution and 4,000-nit peak brightness.

In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 14T is expected to feature a 1/1.56″ main camera using Sony’s IMX906 sensor. Leak suggests that there will also be a 50 MP telephoto with 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro will step up with a larger 1/1.31″ type main camera using the Light Fusion 900 sensor. It will reportedly offer 2x “optical equivalent” zoom while retaining the same other cameras as the 14T. Both phones offer a 32 MP selfie snapper and a 5,000 mAh battery. Additionally, the last leak suggests both devices will feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Xiaomi 14T Pro will allegedly support Wi-Fi 7, while the Xiaomi 14T is limited to Wi-Fi 6E. Out of the box, both smartphones will run Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS on top.
Design and Color Options
The leak suggested that Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will be available in three colorways: Titanium Grey,Titanium Black, and Titanium Blue. While the names might suggest a titanium frame, it’s unlikely that Xiaomi would use such a premium material for this series. Given that this isn’t Xiaomi’s top-tier line, titanium is still a relatively rare material in the mobile world. However, considering the unexpected surprises that often occur in the tech industry, we can’t completely dismiss the possibility of a titanium frame.
